The ICWFD is committed to bridging the digital divide in marginalized and disadvantaged sectors of society worldwide by providing training in vital job skills to reduce poverty, enhance employability, empower youth to become productive citizens, enable entrepreneurship, stimulate broad-based economic development, and accelerate social transformation.

The ICWFD provides access to over 500 state-of-the-art and certification-level information technology and professional development courses FOR FREE to the trainee end-users through partnerships with corporate, foundation, and government sponsors. The ICWFD’s “E-Skills360” e-learning platform equips girls and boys, women and men with 21st century employability skills so that they are ready to compete in the global economy. The resulting well-trained individuals attract multi-national and local corporate investment into the local economy by providing a talented workforce base from which companies can hire skilled employees. ICWFD is a California-based 501(c)3 non-profit public charity organization.

Vision:

To achieve the potential of Information Technology skills as a key contributor to socio-economic and educational development by providing the growing multitudes of teens, higher education students, and adult learners with access to high quality IT and Professional Development skills via e-learning.
To encourage and facilitate the development of skills that increase professional and technical opportunities in disadvantaged sectors of society, and the G77 developing countries.
Enhance the job skills of disadvantaged populations as a means to Digital Inclusion and sustainable self-sufficiency.
Provide for efficient management of public- and private-sector country resources by building a base of well-trained, skilled workers through a scalable platform of e-learning courses.
